Branding in Typeset
Overview
Branding is an essential part of maintaining a consistent and professional look across your digital content. With Typeset, you can customize your branding to align with your business or personal style, ensuring that your presentations, ebooks, and other assets reflect your unique identity.
What Branding Features Are Available?
Typeset allows you to apply branding elements to your content, including:
Logo – Upload your brand’s logo.
Colors – Customize the color scheme to match your brand identity.
Fonts – Choose from a variety of fonts to align with your brand’s typography.
Automatically add your Branding to Typeset
When you sign up for Typeset using your business email address or custom domain, Typeset will automatically import your branding settings from your website!
You can edit these at any time by going to your dashboard, clicking on your profile icon in the upper right corner, and selecting Manage Branding.
If you have signed up for Typeset with a free web-based email account such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc., you have the option to manually set up your branding settings, or you can import branding from a URL
You’ll apply branding to your project in the editor by clicking on the Themes icon in the upper right, then selecting your branded theme from the Your Themes section.
How to add your Branding to Typeset manually.
To add your branding to Typeset, navigate to your Brand settings page. You can find this settings page on the home page of Typeset! First, click your profile icon in the top right corner of Typeset and then select Manage Branding.
Applying your Branded Theme to a project
Now that you have created your Branded Theme, it will be available for use in your Typeset Projects moving forward. To apply the Branded Theme in new and existing projects, click the "Themes" button in the right-hand menu of your project, navigate to the "Your Themes" section of the menu, and you should see a new Theme named after your account!
Selecting the Branded theme will automatically apply your Brand Colors, Logo, and Fonts to the entire project for you!
Adding and Customizing Your Logo in Typeset
You can personalize your content in Typeset by manually adding a logo to any Theme! No need to rely on just the Branded Theme anymore. This guide walks you through how to upload and customize your logo's appearance directly within the platform.
Step-by-Step: How to Add a Logo to a Theme
Open the Theme Editor
Navigate to the right-hand menu in Typeset and click on the "Logo" section and select "Logo and Branding".
Upload or Replace a Logo
Click the upload area to add a new logo image file, or
Select an existing logo to replace or update it within your current Theme.
Adjust Logo Settings
Once your logo is added, you can customize several settings to match your brand’s look:Logo Size: Scale your logo to fit your design perfectly.
Appearance Modes: Choose the exact image file for Light or Dark versions of your logo.
Background Options:
Set a custom background theme color, or
Enable a transparent background for seamless blending.
Logo Position: Move the logo to the desired location within the content layout.

- Yes! Using the Customize and Logo menus, you can make multiple Branded themes that have your brand guidelines and logos baked in!
- I signed up using a custom domain. Can I import branding from a different URL?
- While you can’t import branding while using a custom domain email, you can manually change the logo, colors, and fonts in your branding settings!
- What does the Automatically Update Branding button do?
- If you’re using a custom domain, then make changes to the branding on your website; this button will automatically pull in the new branding.
- Does branding update online share for all projects automatically?
- Will updating my branding settings affect previous projects using the theme? Yes, but not for exported content.
